Hello,
Love your software. I hate to admit it but my computer desktops are usually a mess. Which is why I ended up buying Desktopple Pro. It’s easy to use and it hides my mess. It’s awesome.

I’ve recently jumped on the OSX 10.6 bandwagon and my favorite utility is no longer functional. Will there be an update soon?

Thanks for your time and for the creation of such great software for Macs.

Sorry, Don, I guess I misunderstood the question.

Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t send a notification that it’s changed the Desktop when doing an image rotation. I’ve filed a bug with Apple, but it’s doubtful they’ll do anything.

There are some hacky ways of working around that, but I tend to stay away from hacks. That said, I am exploring some options. Hopefully I can get something working. If I do, I’ll be issuing an update.

Thanks August, the only time I can get Desktopple to show a picture every 5 minutes is to show desktop.

I have a Coverset that is set to not hide the Desktop at all. It lets you do just exactly what you need.

Is there a way to turn off cover set? I have my system preferences to rotate through photographs on the desktop every 5 seconds. I like doing this without the icons on the screen but when DeskTopple is running, it on displays a single picture.

Suggestions?

Desktopple Basic was the very first version of Desktopple that I wrote. While I plan on keeping it free, I don’t plan on updating it any further. Desktopple Pro does, though, handle the Spaces and Exposé changes you mention.

Hello, I’m using Desktopple free and there’s a bug in Leopard.. whenever you use Spaces, and swtich to a different space, the desktop reappears. Setting Desktopple to be shown in “All Spaces” doesn’t fix this behaviour.

Is there any fix on the works?
